JOLEX CONSTRUCTION COMPANY CONGRATULATES GOV LALONG ON LAUNCHING OF PROCUREMENT E-PORTAL

PLAN TO SMEAR NORTHERN GOVERNORS FORUM OVER PANTAMI UNCOVERED  The Northern States Governor's Forum says it has uncovered a clandestine attempt by a shadow group to engage in a smear campaign against the Forum as well as its Chairman and Governor of Plateau State Rt. Hon. GOV LALONG LAUNCHES E-PORTAL FOR PROCUREMENTS

In its quest to open up governance through public procurement, the Plateau State Government has developed and launched an electronic procurement portal (e-procurement portal) for its public procurements. The e-procurement portal which was deployed virtual on Friday through zoom by the Plateau State Bureau of Public Procurement was witnessed by many people across the globe. The general public who intend to do business with Plateau State Government can now log in to plateaustatebpp.com or plateaustatebpp.portal to view advertised contracts, works or services as well as apply. NMA APPLAUDS LALONG'S PEACE DRIVE AND HOSTING OVER 1000 DRs ON CONFERENCE

The Plateau State Director General of Public Procurement Bureau, BLDR Peter Y Dogo has aplauded Governor Simon Bako Lalong's efforts in making it a leading agency in Nigeria. When The Grassroots Watch sort to know how the Governor has fared in the Agency, Dogo stated that "My principal Rt Hon Dr Simon Bako Lalong has actually achieved a lot in the bureau for public procurement, when you look at public procurement in the country its a thing that virtually every state in the country strives to achieve, in Plateau State we are one of the few that are online when it comes to electronic procurement". PLATEAU: 2021 BUDGET BREAKDOWN WILL NO LONGER HOLD- COMMISSIONER

The anual budget breakdown of Plateau State government will no longer hold for the year 2021. This was made known to The Grassroots Watch on Friday by the Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning Mr Sylvester Wallanko. Wallanko in an interaction with our reporter during this year's  Stakeholders Townhall Meeting on Citizens Engagement in the State's Budgeting Process held at the Azi Nyako Youth Center, Dadinkowa, Jos  revealed that the Budget breakdown for this year 2021 based on time lack, events have overtaken it and that is why the state government is not going to do a breakdown as it use to do.
