PLATEAU: CHIEF AMOS GIZO PARLEYS WITH 17 FORMER ACN LG CHAIRMEN.

A political Juggernaut, Chief Dr Amos Gizo receives in audience 17 former Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) local government chairmen and secretaries in his office in Jos on Monday.
The former ACN members who have long metamorphosed into APC said their visit to Chief Gizo was to parley with him and further strengthened their relationship having enjoyed a robust working relationship with him when he was the Plateau State Chairman of ACN and later a gubernatorial candidate.
Secretary of the delegation, Hon Atang Musa stated that Chief Gizo has won their total support because he is a true leader and a grassroots politician who has over the years exhibited a high sense of responsibility by his style of leadership.
While responding, Chief Gizo who could not hide his joy appreciated them for the visit and charged them to work hard towards the growth of APC on the Plateau and for the success of APC in the forth Local Government elections as well as the party's national convention.
The parley was dominated by discussions on challenges faced by the party and its members and possible solutions towards strengthening the party.

SCHOOL OF NURSING LAFIA INDICTED OF MALPRACTICES AND EXTORTION

The School of Nursing and Midwifery, Lafia is currently battling to safeguard its image over alleged sharp practices ranging from exams malpractices and extortion of money from some gullible students. Information available to us indicates that staff of the  prestigious School of Nursing and Midwifery, Lafia, Nasarawa State are facing one form of allegation or the other.
