GIZO CONDOLES THE DACHOMO'S OVER DEMISE OF THEIR MATRIARCH, NGO DEBORAH

Chief Dr Amos Gizo has payed a condolence visit to the Dachomo family on Saturday 26th June 2021 to commisurate with them after the demise of their mother Ngo Deborah Dachomo who passed on at 88. PLATEAU: APC APPEALS FOR CALM, SETS UP APPEAL PANEL OVER LG PRIMARIES

Following complains from some irregularities that trailed the just concluded Local Government primary elections in Plateau State, the All Progressive Congress (APC) has appealed for calm. According to a press released signed and made available to The Grassroots Watch by Mallam Bashir Musa Sati, State Secretary, Caretaker Committee reads in part; "Following the successful conduct of the APC primary elections, our attention has been drawn to an unauthorized circulation of fake list of purported  winners of the elections on social media" Members of the party are therefore called upon to disregard the message and avoid making statements that will promote the agenda of mischief makers. PLATEAU: APC RELEASES ELECTION MATERIALS FOR CONDUCT OF LG PRIMARIES

The APC on the Plateau has successfully released sensitive and non sensitive materials in readidiness to conduct Local Government primary elections in the State. Though the materials were released late evening today but the party is hopeful that primary elections would still hold today. Commissioners who are the returning officers were swapped from their local government of origin. PA TAPLE LAID TO REST AT 106 AMIDST CELEBRATION...

Each time a loved one dies the family, loved ones and well wishers are thrown into mourning, but for Pa Andrawus Taple Banle his passing into glory was greeted with celebrations for what can be described as a life well lived having lived for 106 fruitful years on earth. The demise of Pa Taple came at a time life expectancy has dropped to about 40 due to so many factors ranging from poor health, insecurity, poverty and so on. When Pa Taple was laid to rest on FFriday June 18th at his country home in Pankshin after a funeral service at COCIN Vel, Pankshin, the family celebrated his life and times having lived up to 106 years, a longevity hardly seen around. The late Pa Taple was a missionary, a builder, a civil servant and a community leader who has touched so many lives in positive ways. A former governor of Zamfara State and a Presidential aspirant, Senator Yerima Amed Bakura has identified poverty, under policing, undue emphasis on paper qualification as part of the bane of Nigeria's woes. Bakura stated this in Jos,Wednesday while on a private friendly visit to Chief Dr Amos Gizo, a gubernatorial aspirant in Jos plateau State. Bakura opined that when elected as the President of Nigeria come 2023 he will adopt a strategy that will bring the country out of the woods.
