PLATEAU: APC RELEASES ELECTION MATERIALS FOR CONDUCT OF LG PRIMARIES

The APC on the Plateau has successfully released sensitive and non sensitive materials in readidiness to conduct Local Government primary elections in the State.

Though the materials were released late evening today but the party is hopeful that primary elections would still hold today.

Commissioners who are the returning officers were swapped from their local government of origin.
Addressing the media after the distribution of sensitive election materials on the instruction of the Plateau State Acting Chairman, Barr Musa Sati,the State Secretary of the APC pointed out that the important exercise of the distribution of the election materials is successfully made tothe17 LGAs, thus, the party primaries will be done without hitches. 
Sati continued that though the election is by direct and not indirect system of voting, that is option A4, there is room for consensus that must be followed by confirmation of the the consensus via affirmation.

The Plateau State APC Secretary assured that the exercise will be 98% successful from all indicators. We are not anticipating any problems because the screening exercise in all the senatorial districts were smooth and done seamlessly. 
Barr Musa Sati concluded that journalists would be invited to get the results of the party primaries as the results come from the 17 LGAs by t
he electoral officers.

SCHOOL OF NURSING LAFIA INDICTED OF MALPRACTICES AND EXTORTION

The School of Nursing and Midwifery, Lafia is currently battling to safeguard its image over alleged sharp practices ranging from exams malpractices and extortion of money from some gullible students. Information available to us indicates that staff of the  prestigious School of Nursing and Midwifery, Lafia, Nasarawa State are facing one form of allegation or the other.
