GOV LALONG KEPT TO HIS PROMISE, WORK RESUMES AT JOS NUJ PRESS CENTER- Jatau

Renovation work has resumed at the NUJ Press Center in Jos following the promise made to Journalists by Governor Simon Bako Lalong during a media parley he had recently with men of the  fourth estate of the real in Plateau State.
The disclosure was made to The Grassroots Watch magazine by the State Chairman of Nigerian Union of Journalist, Mr Paul Jatau on Wednesday.

According to the Chairman, " few days after his Excellency made that pronouncement, I went back to meet him on a follow up, and in my presence he called the contractor and asked him to resume work at the cite and release was made to him.we are beginning to see things happen here and we pray that he will meet up with the one month dateline "
Mr Jatau who said work has reached about 80% completion, expressed the gratitude of the Press community on the Plateau to Governor Simon Bako Lalong for considering the plight of Journalists in the State by renovating the dilapidated press center adding that " we hope he will keep the momentum ".
