PPA SURPRISES GOVERNOR LALONG  WITH AN AWARD FOR PEACE BUILDING AND RECONCILIATION 

The Plateau Publishers Association (PPA) has on Friday  given a surprise award to the Governor of Plateau State and Chairman, Northern Governors Forum,  His Excellency, Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong for Peace Building and Reconciliation in Plateau  and for his outstanding performance in addressing the challenges that once gave Plateau a bad name. 

The award presentation which took the Governor by surpeise  came after a media parley the Governor had with Journalists in Jos after a successful media tour that took journalists to the 17 Local Government Areas of Plateau State, 
Governor Simon Lalong has engaged members of the media in a parley to listen to their experiences, comments, suggestions and questions on the gigantic Lalong Legacy Projects.
While speaking at the media parley held at the Victoria Gowon Auditorium, New Government House, Little Rayfield Jos, Governor Lalong assured the journalists that he will ensure the completion of all Legacy Projects initiated by his administration before the end of his tenure.

UPDATE ON JOS ABATTOIR CHILDREN MOLESTATION SAGA

The residence of the Lebanese man alleged to have been involved in sexual molestation of under aged girls in Abattoir, Jos has been vandalised by irate youths in the area. The Grassroots Watch who went to the house in company of security agents discovered that while the security was trying to calm the situation at the police post where were beaten by the irate youths who took the advantage of concentration of security personnel at the Police outpost to sneak into than mans house and vandalised it. On entering the house, the team of security personnel saw the ransacked house in shambles. Items in the house were vandalised, destroyed and carted away. The next neighbour who is also a Lebanese, popularly known as God father was also attacked, his phones snached, cars vandalised and he escaped with degrees of injury.
