Plateau State : APC Unveils On-line Forum, As Gadi Frowns At Politians Attitudes Towards Youths Initiatives.
In a bid to reposition the party ahead the next coming general election and to be more technological compliance,the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has formed online forum.
The forum was formed by group under the auspacies of "APC Youths Online Forum"Plateau State chapter.
In an interview with the chairman of the Youths online forum Saminu Maigoro held at the Eliel Center,Gold and Base junction in Jos, plateau State said the reason behind the formation of the forum which had been in existence for a while ,is to add spices to the mudus opradi of the party to make its different from others.
Saminu said the initiative of the Youths online that had been in place for quite awhile ,is not that the idea is just being born,the idea have been there,all what we did was to built on it and make it more encomping by all the APC as family .
He said the need for the forum is easy accessibility without any cumbersome in information dissemination and other urgent of passing information relating to the party members timely and urgently .
Saminu who doubled as the host of the occasion said he still dumbfounded over the caliber of people that graced the events.
"When the idea came on the need to organize the events to broaden the platform horizon ,I was a little bit skeptical because it has never crossed mind that the caliber of persons who attend event today will oblige the invitation".
He thank God for successful hosting of the occasion and promised that the forum will make positive use of the online platform that will be for the benefit of the party ,and members as a whole.
The member Representing Pankshin ,Kanam and Kanke at the Federal House Of Representative and chairman Committee on Navy,Rt.Hon. Yusuf Gadi frown at the attitude of some of the Politians in the state who he described as nonchalant attitudes towards things that concerns the youths.
Gadi was directly referring to the member of the state House of Assembly, Commissioners,Local government chairmen and other Government arms in the state that has benefited in one way or the other from the Youths in the state political benevolent.
The lawmaker Condemned their action and advised them to have change of mind and always take the initiative of the Youths who voted them onto that political sit the are enjoying today seriously.
He however Condemned the wrong us of social media platforms by some people for reasons best now to them,and advised APC Youths Online Forum to use the platform for the good of the Party and humanity.
On his part,the chairman of the occasion and Deputy speaker of the House of Representative Ahmed Idris Maje encourage the forum to use the platform to propagate unity within the APC party and asked them to shun act capable of bringing the APC to disrepute.
Earlier the guest speaker of the occasion S.A to president on political matter urgued the Youths to allow their country to be paramount in their mind .
He said he is in the event because of his love for Plateau State and the country as a whole.
The topic of the lecture"Lead From Where You Are",Ojudu said the future of Nigeria cannot be certain without the participation of the Youths in politics.
The lecture has it theme as "Youths Participation In Party Politics , Governance, Loyalty And Ideology The Role Of The Media.
Dignitries who graced the occasion includes the Deputy Speaker of House of Representative Rt.Hon.idris Maje,Hon. Yusuf Gadi, representative of the governor, Simon Bako Lalong,the chairman of Riyom LG Hon . and Mafeng Gwalson.
High point of the occasion is the unveiling of the new Exco's for the state forum.
